1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to DateLyft.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DateLyft's website, Dating Health Assessment, membership services, personalized dating plans, coaching, communications, and related offerings.

DateLyft ("DateLyft," "we," "us," or "our") is a Houston, Texas-based dating support service.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our services.

2. Eligibility

You will use our services for lawful, personal purposes.

You will treat coaches, staff, event organizers, and other individuals respectfully.

DateLyft reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

3. Description of Services

DateLyft provides personalized dating guidance and resources designed to help individuals create opportunities to meet people, improve dating habits, build confidence, and navigate dating experiences.

Depending on the services or membership purchased, DateLyft may provide:

Dating Health Assessments and personalized insights

Individualized dating plans

Weekly local social and dating opportunities

Personal dating coaching

Monthly one-on-one coaching sessions

Text-based coaching and support

The specific services included in your membership are described on the applicable purchase page.

DateLyft is not a matchmaking agency and does not directly guarantee introductions, dates, compatible partners, or relationships.

4. Free Dating Health Assessment

DateLyft may offer a complimentary Dating Health Assessment.

The assessment uses information provided by the participant to generate personalized insights, including dating strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Assessment results are informational and are not clinical, psychological, or scientifically validated diagnostic evaluations.

Completing the assessment does not require purchasing a membership.

Assessment results may be delivered electronically using the contact information provided.

5. Membership Pricing and Introductory Offer

DateLyft currently offers an introductory membership promotion with the following terms:

First 30 Days: $1

New eligible members are charged $1 when enrolling in the introductory offer.

This payment provides access to the membership services included in the offer during the initial 30-day period.

After the First 30 Days: $149 per Month

Unless canceled before the first recurring charge, the membership automatically continues at $149 per month, plus any applicable taxes.

The first $149 charge is scheduled following the 30-day introductory period, according to the billing schedule confirmed at checkout.

Subsequent recurring charges occur approximately monthly until cancellation.

The introductory offer is a discounted paid membership period, not a free trial.

If the payment checkout identifies the initial $1 charge as a "setup fee," that charge represents the advertised $1 introductory payment. It is not an additional charge on top of the introductory offer.

The amount due today, renewal amount, and applicable billing terms are displayed during checkout.

DateLyft may modify introductory promotions for future customers. Any changes to an existing customer's recurring subscription charges will be communicated as required by applicable law.

6. Automatic Renewal and Payment Authorization

By purchasing an automatically renewing DateLyft membership, you authorize DateLyft and its payment processing provider to charge your selected payment method:

$1 at enrollment for the introductory 30-day period, if eligible for that offer;

$149 per month after the introductory period, unless you cancel before the first recurring charge; and

Any applicable taxes disclosed during checkout.

Your subscription renews automatically until canceled.

You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

If a payment fails, DateLyft may attempt to process the payment again and may temporarily suspend membership access until the billing issue is resolved.

Any billing authorization and consent requirements established by applicable law will apply.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your DateLyft membership at any time. There is no long-term commitment or cancellation penalty.

To cancel, you may:

Use the online membership cancellation option provided by DateLyft, where available; or

Email [email protected] requesting cancellation.

Online cancellation must be made available where required by applicable law.

To avoid the next recurring charge, cancellation must be completed before that charge is processed.

Once cancellation is confirmed:

Your subscription will not renew for another billing period.

You will not be charged additional recurring membership fees, except for charges already incurred or otherwise lawfully owed.

Access to paid membership services will ordinarily continue through the end of your current paid period, unless otherwise disclosed or required by law.

Cancellation confirmation will be provided electronically.

We will not require you to complete a coaching call or speak with a representative solely to cancel your membership.

8. Refund Policy

Because DateLyft provides access to digital services, personalized recommendations, and coaching resources, membership payments are generally nonrefundable once processed, except where required by law or expressly agreed by DateLyft.

This includes the $1 introductory payment and subsequent recurring membership charges.

Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle the member to a refund for a completed billing period.

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact [email protected] so we can review the issue.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Coaching Sessions and Scheduling

Memberships that include coaching sessions are subject to the scheduling options and availability provided by DateLyft.

For the standard membership, DateLyft currently includes one 30-minute individual coaching session per monthly membership period.

Members are responsible for scheduling and attending their sessions.

Sessions must be booked using the scheduling method provided by DateLyft.

If you cannot attend a scheduled session, please provide reasonable advance notice and reschedule through the available scheduling process.

Missed appointments may be treated as used sessions when a member fails to attend without sufficient notice.

Unused coaching sessions do not automatically accumulate or carry forward to future membership periods unless DateLyft expressly agrees otherwise.

If DateLyft must cancel a scheduled session, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement appointment.

Coaching session availability may vary based on scheduling demand.

10. Text Support and Communications

DateLyft memberships may include access to text-based coaching and support.

Text support is intended for dating-related questions, guidance, follow-up, and membership assistance.

Text support is not a continuously monitored emergency service, and immediate responses are not guaranteed.

Response times may vary according to business hours, staffing, and message volume.

DateLyft may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, and human personnel to help organize and respond to communications.

Members agree to communicate respectfully and not misuse support channels through harassment, threats, or excessive unrelated messaging.

11. Personalized Plans and Local Event Recommendations

DateLyft may recommend social events, community gatherings, activities, and other opportunities based on a member's preferences, general location, and dating goals.

These recommendations are informational and do not constitute guaranteed reservations, admissions, introductions, or dating opportunities.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

DateLyft does not organize or operate recommended third-party events.

Event admission, registration, travel, food, and other related costs are not included in membership fees.

Events may be canceled, rescheduled, or changed by organizers.

Availability, age requirements, and participation rules are determined by event organizers.

Members are responsible for reviewing event details, verifying current information, following venue rules, and deciding whether to participate.

DateLyft is not responsible for the independent conduct or decisions of third-party event organizers or participants.

12. No Guarantees of Dating Outcomes

DateLyft is designed to support personal development, dating confidence, and the creation of real-world opportunities.

DateLyft does not guarantee:

A specific number of dates or introductions

Romantic compatibility

Matches or relationships

Marriage or long-term partnership

Responses to messages or dating profiles

Success at recommended social events

Your results will depend in part on your circumstances, choices, and participation.

DateLyft provides dating coaching, practical guidance, and general educational support.

Our services are not substitutes for licensed mental health counseling, psychotherapy, medical treatment, legal advice, or other regulated professional services.

DateLyft coaches are not presented as licensed mental health professionals solely by virtue of providing dating coaching.

If you are experiencing significant emotional distress, a mental health crisis, abuse, or an immediate safety concern, seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional or emergency service.

DateLyft may revise, correct, or remove recommendations when appropriate.

Members receive a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use purchased materials for personal, noncommercial purposes.

19. Service Availability and Changes

DateLyft may update, improve, or modify its website, technology, coaching processes, and service features.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the core services purchased by members.

If a material change substantially reduces the services included in an existing paid membership, we will provide appropriate notice and any remedy required by applicable law.

Temporary service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, third-party outages, or other circumstances.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DateLyft services are provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not warrant that our website or services will operate without interruption or error, or that recommendations will produce particular dating outcomes.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DateLyft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services, including lost opportunities, relationship outcomes, or independent third-party conduct.

To the extent legally permitted, DateLyft's total liability for claims relating to its services will not exceed the amount the member paid to DateLyft during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

If you have a dispute concerning DateLyft services, we encourage you to contact [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights or seeking remedies available under applicable consumer protection law.

23. Changes to These Terms

DateLyft may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, business practices, technology, or legal requirements.

The updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date.

Where required by law, we will provide advance notice or obtain appropriate consent before implementing material changes.

Changes will not retroactively remove rights that customers have under applicable law.
